We had a great weekend. The weather was great and the kids loved being outside playing with friends. We took dinner (Joy Luck - Oh sooo good!) to Mom and Dad Thayne's house on Saturday night and enjoyed an evening of playing the Wii. Grandma and Trevin went to Top Hat and picked out a couple of fun movies to watch. On Sunday we attended Allison's blessing at Tim and Lindsay's Singles Ward. It was so nice. Tim did a great job. Allie fussed a little bit, but it was a cute little cry. Dad Kehl spoke about how Lindsay has been such a blessing in our lives, and he's so right! We love Lindsay and I'm glad that Tim found her. After the blessing we went to Mom and Dad Kehl's house for an Open House to celebrate Allie's blessing. It was nice to visit with Lindsay's family. When Allie changed out of her blessing dress, she had a dress that matched Alya's. Don't they look cute together? Ayla has a bright red nose from playing outside, it's still a bit cold out there. I think these two cuties are going to be the best of friends.

On our way home we hit something on the freeway, and wouldn't you know it... while heading up Eagleridge Drive, we got a flat tire. After about 20 minutes of trying to get the spare off (and 3 nice people stopping to help), we finally decided to call AAA. They arrive really quick, and in Matt's defense the technician mentioned that on the newer models of cars the spare tires are really hard and tricky to get off. Plus we were on a steep hill when our tire burst. Our jack wasn't very strong and the car could have come crashing down. So calling AAA worked out for the best. The kids LOVED this experience. They thought having a flat tire was the coolest thing ever. They told all their friends at school about it. Ahh, to be young and enjoy the little things... I hope they never grow up!!
