Just like May, June was a whirlwind of excitement and busy activities. Here are a few highlights of our "gone to fast" June.
After the kids begging us for what seemed to be forever, we finally took them to Lagoon. It was a beautiful day, it wasn't crowded at all and that's just the way I like any amusement park to be. I love how Trevin and Daxy are getting older, and more importantly... taller! It's fun to take them on the BIG rides, and they love it! They also loved taking their little sister on rides, and "protecting her" if she ever got scared.

Joey, Trisha, Benjamin, and Abby, were in town and we all went to see the movie "Up" with Grandma and Grandpa Thayne. Although the kids really liked the movie, they loved the time spent with their cousins, and the ice cream afterwards. You Gotta Love Family!

We celebrated Darlene's birthday up Muellar Park Canyon this year, it was a beautiful night. I couldn't resist sharing this photo... I just love the way David is looking at Darlene. Young and in Love... :)

If you haven't been to Dinosaur Park in Ogden, and you have a dino lover in your house... this is the place to go. The kids loved digging for dino bones, and playing on the dino playground. This year they fed the ducks and all of them wanted to take them home! We always have a good time at the park... even when there are big hungry dinosaurs, and a Dad who is willing to feed his kids to them. I think all but one of the kids enjoyed being fed to the dinosaurs... can you figure out who didn't? My poor baby!

Father's Day was fun this year. Matt was sung to, spoiled (although no more than any other day of the year ;), hugged and kissed, all day long. We started the day off with the kids making him breakfast. They made him a waffle bar ... complete with chocolate, whip cream, and raspberries. Yum! Matt is a terrific Dad. He makes his kids laugh, plays around with them, and loves teaching them new things. We topped the day off with spending time with my Dad and celebrating Chad and Marissa's birthdays. We celebrated with David, Matt's Dad the night before at Sizzler. It was nice spending time with family.

Every year my Dad's birthday goes hand in hand with Taylorsville Dayzz. This year his birthday was on the day of the big firework show. We had a great time getting together and celebrating with my Dad. After a big BBQ, presents, cake and ice-cream, we walked across the canal to the ball park to see the show. The kids love that Grandpa gets fireworks on his birthday. I really enjoy these times, and seeing my kids having so much fun with their cousins. There's nothing like seeing your kids bond with their cousins. I hope they're always this close!

Grandpa and Ayla dancing to Neil Diamond ... the music from Taylorsville Dayzz.

We topped the month off with a visit to the new waterpark ... Cow-A-Bunga Bay in Draper. It was quite the place, and a lot of fun. Trevin and Daxton just took off by themselves and we saw them every now and then, each time hearing about new adventures of the fun they were having. Ayla loved the kiddie pool, and wanted to stay there the whole time. It was really fun... and no better place to beat the Utah heat!

And finally... on those boring days when there's just nothing to do... the kids always seem to find something. Like getting out all of their little sisters doll clothes and dressing up their guinea pigs... Ha ha... the excitement never ends at our house! Poor Cookie... but he sure looked cute.

Looking forward to our July Adventures. :)
